Job Description for Appraiser Sr. (Residential Real Estate)

Investigates the quality of the construction, the overall condition of the property, and its functional design in order to estimate the fair market value to serve as collateral for a mortgage loan. May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, 4-6 years of experience and certification/licensure in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
