Job Description for Architectural Director New Search   
Oversees architectural design work for multiple projects at once. Approves the work of more junior design staff, and may serve as designer for more complex or larger projects. Presents designs to clients in order to ensure satisfaction; makes revisions as necessary. Develops project budgets and work schedules; approves estimates. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 12 years of experience in the field; requires an architect's license. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
