Job Description for Athletic Trainer

Under the direction of a physician, treats and prevents athletic injuries by developing therapies to reduce pain and improve mobility. Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing. Requires a bachelor's/master's degree from an accredited program and typically requires certification in the field. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
