Job Description for Biomedical Engineer IV New Search   
Designs, develops and provides safety testing, repair, and maintenance of biomedical equipment. Ensures that the biomedical equipment is in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and quality control standards. Requires a bachelor's degree and 6-8 years of direct experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of unit/department.
