Job Description for Chief Executive Officer - Physician Practice New Search   
Plans and directs the policies, objectives, and initiatives of one or more physician office sites. Responsible for the short- and long-term profitability and growth of the company. Approves work procedures and standards for the units and ensures consistent implementation and enforcement. Represents the organization to investors, the industry, and the public. May require an advanced degree with at least 15 years of experience in the field. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. May preside over board of directors.
