Oversees Ultrasound Technologists and maintains the technical aspects of ultrasound services. Acts as a liaison between technologists, physicians and area support staff. Requires a two year allied health degree, successful completion of an approved one-year program in Ultrasound Technology, and at least 7 years of experience in the field. May require registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
