Manages collection and analysis of clinical outcomes data in order to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of program effectiveness. Evaluates patient care data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Requires a bachelor's/master's degree, current RN license, and at least 8 years of experience in the field or a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department.
