Job Description for Communications Editor Manager New Search   
Manages a staff of editors who write, prepare and review articles to be used in company publications. Develops, implements, and maintains editorial policies and standards and ensures conformance. May assist in coordinating production or distribution activities. Acts as advisor to editing team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to head of a unit/department.
