Job Description for Compliance Director (Banking)

Directs organizational policies and programs designed to ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA Patriot Act, and other Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. Develops and implements strategies for minimizing loss and reducing risk. Develops organizational response to changing fraud patterns or regulations in the field. Provides top management with reports detailing losses or incidents. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
