Job Description for Credit Card Fraud Analyst

Identifies and analyzes the credit card fraud cases and card holder information. Communicates with merchants and cardholders to ensure their account safety and prevent loss. Investigates and analyzes the causes, methods and process of fraud activities and generates credit card fraud prevention and analysis reports. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
