Job Description for Credit Risk Manager

Provides leadership and direction to the credit risk management group. Ensures that the credit process, policies and activities fall within the parameters of the organization's policies and standards and appropriate legislation. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
