Guides the implementation of data models, database designs, data access and table maintenance codes. Implements policies for resolving database performance, capacity and replication issues. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
