Oversees the daily operations of a discount brokerage. Ensures that brokerage operations adhere to the organization's financial and business strategies. Monitors the purchase and sale of securities for clients at discounted commissions. Ensures accuracy of transactions, oversees account maintenance, and acts as a liaison with the organization's full-service broker as needed. Ensures compliance with all relevant government regulations. Keeps abreast of market conditions. Requires NASD Series 7 license. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 7 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a director.
