Responsible for the timely buying and selling of securities for clients at discounted commissions. Ensures accuracy of transactions and keeps abreast of market conditions. Typically does not make investment recommendations unless client holds advised account or other fee-based product. Requires NASD series 7 license. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area and may require state licensure. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or a head of a unit/department.
