Job Description for Divisional Merchandise Manager New Search   
Manages a division's group of buyers who select merchandise for order, place orders, and are involved in inventory distribution. Works with buyers to review previous orders and to determine which inventory should be replenished. Researches new trends or advances in product lines to make appropriate buying decisions. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department.
