Prepares routine drafting projects, such as the preparation of various drawings of structures and equipment systems derived from layouts and sketches. Follows established technical specifications to prepare drawings and assists in design drafting. Consults with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, and drafting standards. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
