Job Description for Drafting Supervisor New Search   
Plans, assigns, and reviews the work of drafters and other employees working on design projects. Establishes deadlines, develops goals, and determines production standards for the department. Analyzes data and reviews drawings and plans to ensure quality of work and project feasibility. Provides CAD technical support and develops solutions for all application problems. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
