Recommends alterations and enhancements to improve quality of products and/or procedures. Responsible for all internal activities and product development. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. May report to a manager or head of a unit/department.
