Sets up, operates and troubleshoots a variety of machines and/or equipments on customer site in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Adjusts and operates a certain equipment to complete assigned task safely and timely. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.
