Job Description for Financial Reporting Director

Directs and oversees the preparation and distribution of financial statements for external use. Ensures that all documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. May serve as a liaison with or oversee the work of external auditors. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 10 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
