Job Description for Graduate Medical Education Director

Directs daily activities of the organization's graduate medical education (GME) programs. Ensures compliance with ACGME and ensures that resident work meets all requirements. Monitors resident assignments and scheduling. Gathers data and creates reports supporting the programs' accreditation. May require an advanced degree with at least 7 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
