Job Description for Histology Technologist

Performs complex histological procedures. Uses computerized equipment and records data from tests. Requires a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Must also be certified as a Histotechnologist, HTL (ASCP). Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
