Job Description for Donor Research CoordinatorNew Search
Develops and implements a strategy for identifying and researching current and potential donors for a nonprofit organization. Communicates with current and potential donors to build a strong relationship with the organization. Obtains and analyzes biographical, financial, or other types of data obtained from a variety of internal and external sources to determine willingness and ability to donate. Refers to and maintains records of past gifts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
