Job Description for Investment Specialist

Delivers professional investment services to customers. Reviews and recommends investment and insurance options to customers. Identifies clients' investment objectives and matches investment products. Researches and solves customers' investment needs. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. May require NASD series 6, 7 and 63 licenses. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
