Develops and maintains job control language (JCL) for a particular program or programs. Sets up jobs, monitors progress, and reviews output for accuracy. May require an associate's degree in a related area and at least 3 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager.
