In association with a non-profit or social services organization, assists clients in job searching and placement. Matches individual's background, skills, and interest with job openings. Prepares candidate for interview and entry into the workforce. Establishes and maintains working relationships with employers and public agencies to secure employment opportunities. Requires an associate's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a case manager.
