Clinic Manager I administers the daily operations of a medical clinic staffed by 25 physicians or less. Prepares and monitors budgets, purchases equipment and supplies, oversees maintenance of the facility. Being a Clinic Manager I is responsible for hiring and training office and nursing support staff. Establishes and oversees billing practices. Additionally, Clinic Manager I may be responsible for contracts or negotiations with insurance providers. This is an administrative non-physician role. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Clinic Manager I supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes.
