Job Description for Manufacturing Director

Directs and oversees an organization's manufacturing processes. Oversees equipment purchase, maintenance and layout. Monitors and evaluates workflow and assembly methods and makes recommendations for process improvements. Oversees staffing, scheduling and training for production. Ensures manufacturing performance and quality goals are met. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
