Job Description for Materials Manager New Search   
Manages the purchasing and inventory control functions. Provides support to production scheduling on all material flow issues to meet production schedules and customer requirements. Interfaces with product line coordinators on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 7 years experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department.
