Job Description for Materials Planner III New Search   
Reviews blueprints and product specifications to accurately determine amount of materials needed. Documents overall material need, including all codes, brands, and contact information necessary to process orders. Adjusts amounts for existing inventory and for orders of conventional sizes. Requires ability to understand engineering documents and work closely with members of the engineering team. Requires a high school degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of unit/department.
