Job Description for Mechanical Engineering Technician II

Assists mechanical engineers in the planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery, such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc. Helps prepare proposals and cost estimates. Estimates work load to establish completion dates. Requires a high school degree or its equivalent with 2-5 years of experience in the field. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
