Job Description for Medical Device Lab Technician New Search   
Works in a laboratory setting, producing medical devices such as prosthetics or orthotics, implants, or lenses. Configures devices to specifications established by a physician or other health care provider. May require a high school diploma, formal training in an area of specialty and at least 2 years of experience. May require certification in the field. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to supervisor or manager.
