Coordinates processing of applications, appointments, and administrative support services for medical staff and health professionals. Supervises the billing, collection, and deposit of medical staff dues. Oversees orientation of new medical staff members. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Requires Medical Staff Credentialing experience, RHIT, or certification in medical staff credentialing. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
