Develops and implements metadata schemas designed to meet the needs of the institution; revises schemas or workflows in response to changing business needs. Oversees imaging and cataloging of materials and trains employees. Requires a master's degree in library science from an ALA-accredited school with at least 5 years of experience in a related field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department.
