Job Description for Mine Engineer IV New Search   
Prepares and inspects projects involving underground or surface mining. Responsible for planning and design of mine to ensure maximum stability. Oversees the construction of shafts and tunnel. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of direct experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
