Job Description for Morgue Attendant New Search   
Receives bodies of deceased patients, helps place bodies in compartment trays, confirms identification of bodies, and releases bodies as appropriate. May assist pathologist in performing autopsies. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of related experience. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
