Reviews the customer's goals and develops investment strategies that will attain and support those objectives with acceptable risk. Being a Portfolio Manager II considers legal and tax impact of investment decisions. Monitors daily investment activities to be aware of market changes. Additionally, Portfolio Manager II may manage a team of portfolio managers. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD). Typically reports to senior management. The Portfolio Manager II work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
