Job Description for Operating Room Supervisor New Search   
Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel in the operating room. Ensures adherence to procedure and schedule. Supervises the procurement and maintenance of equipment and supplies, staffing and training of employees, and budgeting. May oversee pre- and post-operative care of patients. Requires a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
