Responsible for the daily operations of the Picture Archiving and Communications Systems. Oversees equipment maintenance and systems testing, upgrading, and installing. Acts as a liaison between the Radiology department and customers. Maintains positive vendor relationship. Requires a bachelor's degree, certification with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT), and at least 5 years of experience in a related field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
