Job Description for Pastoral Care Director - Nursing Home

May perform duties of chaplain, which includes counseling and visiting, for a nursing home. Develops and provides services designed to meet the religious and/or spiritual needs of patients and their families and nursing home employees. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of direct experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
