Job Description for Personal Trainer

Responsible for developing and implementing a specialized exercise regimen for a client. Ensures the fitness program meets the needs of the client and may include elements such as physical fitness, nutrition, cardiovascular training, and weight training. Offers guidance and support to clients in order to achieve their goals. Requires a high school diploma and 2-4 years of experience. May require a personal trainer certification. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
