Responsible for administering the accounting functions of the plant. Establishes the plant's accounting principles and procedures. Responsible for the preparation of financial reports. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of direct experience in the field. May require a CPA. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
