Job Description for Power Plant Operations Shift Supervisor New Search   
Responsible for the operations of a power plant during an assigned shift. Oversees the work of operating staff and trains new employees. In coordination with a Manager develops plans for service interruption or equipment maintenance. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Leads and directs the work of others. Typically reports to a manager.
