Job Description for Powerhouse Supervisor I New Search   
Supervises employees responsible for the operations and maintenance of equipment such as generators, boilers, turbines, compressors, or ventilating or refrigerating systems. Monitors equipment and operating conditions to ensure safety standards are met. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Leads and directs the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. .
