Defines and implements company production strategies. Develops production goals and schedules and distributes production tasks. Manages production planning activities to maximize the use of the organization's resources and meet established production specifications and schedules. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in related field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Leads and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
