Job Description for Production Engineering Supervisor New Search   
Supervises a team of production engineers who plan and design methods to improve or enhance existing programs. Assists in analyzing and reviewing budgets, schedules, production requirements and headcount to determine the most cost effective and efficient methods of obtaining necessary resources. Develops and recommends revisions or enhancements to schedules, human and monetary resource allocations, and production requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager.
