Administers publication policies and procedures that cover two or more functional areas in the publication job family, which could include content selection, sales and marketing, and distribution or circulation. Ensures employees follow established procedures and generate finished work product under time and budgetary constraints and ensures product yields the expected outcomes, including financial profitability. Requires a bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a unit/department head.
