Job Description for Revenue Accounting Director New Search   
Responsibilities include directing and overseeing the functions of the revenue accounting department. Develops policies and systems and reviews contracts to ensure that revenue is recorded in compliance with GAAP. Monitors the month-end revenue close. May assist in the preparation of SEC filings or interface with external auditors as needed. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience in the field; may require CPA certification. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
