Manages the daily activities of the revenue accounting department. Ensures compliance with applicable policies and reviews contracts to ensure that revenue is recorded in compliance with GAAP. Monitors the month-end revenue close. May assist in the preparation of SEC filings or interface with external auditors as needed. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of experience in the field; may require CPA certification. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to the head of a unit/department.
