Oversees the organization's operations and activities regarding the need for additional land or office space. Responsible for researching, negotiating and electing to purchase short- and long-term lease of land agreements and right of way for construction that meet the organization's goals. Oversees all land related legal issues, including transfers of titles and deeds, construction, mortgage concerns, and zoning. Responsible for resolutions and other legal forms related to land acquisitions. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to the head of a unit/department.
